For newly enrolled undergraduate students, a non-refundable admission confirmation fee, including the first instalment of HK$5,000 and some other fees must be paid by the applicants on acceptance of admission offer. The balance of the first instalment must be paid in November.

This scholarship is to recognize outstanding Year 1 students admitted to one of our undergraduate programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences via JUPAS, whose HKDSE results in one sitting satisfy the awarding criteria.

Local year 1 students who obtain HKDSE score (i) 28 or above; or (ii) 27 with one 5* in one subject from four core subjects plus two best elective subjects in one sitting; and Recipients cannot receive the HKBU Admission Scholarship for Outstanding Local Students concurrently.

This scholarship is to recognise outstanding Year 1 students admitted to one of our undergraduate programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences via JUPAS, whose HKDSE results satisfy the awarding criteria of HKBU Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding Local Students.

Eligible students will receive top-up scholarships from this scheme by the Faculty as follows:

• Full Scholarship Recipients -- HK$10,000 of Cash Award and HK$10,000 of Non-local Experiential Learning Grant

• Half Scholarship Recipients -- HK$5,000 of Cash Award and HK$5,000 of Non-local Experiential Learning Grant
