Pay Rate Please refer to the Program leaflet for details
Accommodation Living in Walt Disney World Resort complex (Housing fee deducted from weekly paycheck)
Fee involved

Participants are responsible for the cost of:

  • US Embassy/Consulate Appointment Fee
  • Housing in Disney Resort (deduct from weekly paycheck per week)
  • Non-refundable Program Assessment Fee (One-time off)
  • Round trip airfare 
  • Prepare own food in apartment and at work

(Transportation to and from work is provided)

Attend Training Workshops & mock interviews in HKBU Late-October / November
2nd Round Selection Interview by Disney International Recruiters Mid-November
Announcement of Final Application Result 1 month after interview
Attend Pre-Departure Briefing in HKBU March
J-1 Visa Application by students after Briefing March to May

Pre-trip Preparation by students

(Insurance, Flight Tickets, Housing registration in Disney, etc.)

March to May
Attend Internship Kick-Off Ceremony in HKBU May
Internship in Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida, USA Mid-June to Mid-August
Submit Online Final Report & Cast Member Performance Review Form via HKBU Disney online System End of August
Attend Debriefing Session in HKBU September

Am I suitable for the Program?

You can apply for the Program if you are:

  • HKBU undergraduate student
  • at least 18 years of age at time of application submission
  • financially capable for all the expenses incurred (Program fee, air ticket, visa fee, etc.) 
  • sure you can commit the entire internship period
  • able to speak fluent English
  • willing to take up frontline duties, including cleaning and heavy lifting
  • suitable to work outdoors in a very hot environment and able to stand for long hours
  • willing to share apartments with other participants from other countries
  • cheerful, outgoing and enthusiastic
  • having a flexible work attitude, hardworking and mature
