The Summer Sojourn Programme is a distinctive feature of the China Studies/ Global and China Studies Programme in which all students are required to spend five weeks at Tsinghua University in Beijing at the end of the Third Year. The programme includes seminars on topics related to current issues in China, which are given by renowned Chinese scholars and senior government officials, and field visits to places such as factories, farms, historical sites, government offices, and research institutions.
