In recognition of the outstanding contributions of academic staff, the University presented the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Service to Prof. Chung Pak Kwong, Department of Sport, Physical Education & Health in. Dr. Samson Yuen Wai Hei, Department of Government & International Studies and Dr. Daphne Mah Ngar Yin, Department of Geography were awarded Faculty Performance Award as Early Career Researcher and Faculty Performance Award in Scholarly Work respectively.
To recognize the individual academic outstanding performance and devotion in the teaching of GE courses, the General Education Office presented the General Education Teaching Award to Dr. Martin Chung, Department of Government and International Studies.
Besides, the University also presented the Knowledge Transfer Award to Prof. Daniel Lai , Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Prof. Shirley Hung, Head of Department of Social Work with other HKBU departments who conducted the project on Caring for Patients of COVID-19: Integrated Model of Online Chinese Medicine cum Emotional Support.
