The Lecture was jointly organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology (SOC) and the Institute of Creativity, HKBU, and it was held successfully on 20 November 2015. Prof. Jack Barbalet, Head of SOC shared his expert knowledge and vision on “What is Society? An Embarrassment of Riches” with over 130 participants, including academics and students from various departments on campus, academics from other tertiary institutions, as well as students from two secondary schools in Hong Kong. The Lecture was inspiring and a lively discussion followed.
