What is SSI?

Social Sciences Internship (SSI) is a structured programme developed and supervised by the Faculty of Social Sciences in collaboration with Partner Organisations, to provide various off-campus learning opportunities for all Social Sciences undergraduate students.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship course, students should be able to:

Acquire substantive and detailed knowledge and understanding in the community and workplace.

Identify core values, principles and functioning processes of management and operation of the assigned organisation.

CILO 3

Recognise and practise the job required transferable skills.

CILO 4

Work effectively in a team and independently.

CILO 5

Critically evaluate their own work experience and issues related to their personal and professional development in a reflective manner.
